Carmen Wilson is the visionary co-founder of Play Make Her, a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to empowering young girls through sports and mentorship. Born and raised in a tight-knit community in Atlanta, Georgia, Wilson’s passion for athletics and social impact blossomed from a young age.
Wilson’s own experiences as a female athlete and the challenges she faced navigating male-dominated sports spaces fueled her determination to create change. Alongside her co-founder, she launched Play Make Her with the mission of providing girls with the resources, support, and opportunities they need to excel on and off the field.
Through innovative programs, workshops, and mentorship initiatives, Play Make Her equips girls with essential life skills, confidence, and leadership abilities, leveraging the power of sports as a vehicle for personal and collective empowerment.
Wilson’s unwavering commitment to gender equity and youth development has earned her recognition and acclaim within both the sports and social impact sectors. She continues to inspire girls to dream big, break barriers, and realize their full potential through the transformative power of sports and mentorship.
